It's not uncommon for me to hop in my Instagram DM and get a message from a pretty woman expressing her desire to shoot photos. That's how I met Assata. She's almost like a unicorn. I've never seen her around the city in the circles that I run in, and she's definitely the type of person that would be noticed in public. We got the chance to take these dope photos on a nice warm spring day.
